Guruprasath Narayanan is a Gold medalist in B.E from PSG Tech, Coimbatore and M.S (Mech. Engg.) from Western Michigan University, USA. He did his Master's Thesis in "Landfill Gas as a Fuel for IC Engine" and has published seven research papers on the topic in international journals such as ASME, SAE, Fuel etc.
He has worked as Senior Engineer and Technical Specialist in manufacturing and engine research fields, for over ten years in corporates such as TVS Sundaram Clayton, Caterpillar Inc., Cummins Inc., in India, USA and Austria.
Because of his teaching interests he founded, Guru Academy and Labs, in the year 2014, to teach students of class 11 and 12 for their board exams and entrance exam preparations in Physics, such as NEET, JEE, CUET etc. He likes to teach with practical physics experiments, to help students develop a long term interest for the subject.
He has authored two books, class 11 and class 12 CBSE Physics handbooks, created a YouTube channel and creates simulations in Physics for 11th 12th CBSE NEET JEE preparations, to help students and teachers. He conducts guest lectures and experimental demonstrations for schools and colleges. He also helps and trains fresh Graduates and collaborates with teachers for Physics teaching.
